Compost Day LA

Community Compost Day LA is a free all-ages celebration of compost and community, hosted by LA Compost and partners at Compost Hubs across Los Angeles.

These events connect residents with free sustainability resources—including compost, mulch, native plants, trees, and seeds—paired with hands-on education that strengthens environmental stewardship and community connection.

Building on the success of three Community Compost Day LA events in 2025, which engaged nearly 400 residents, this Earth Day edition at Griffith Park will highlight our shared commitment to climate action, healthy soils, and accessible environmental programming for Council District 4 constituents.
