URGENT: Evacuation *warning* zone expanded to include parts of Encino & Tarzana
Dear friend,
LAFD has expanded the Palisades Fire evacuation warning zone to include parts of Tarzana and Encino. We ask residents to ensure they are ready with an evacuation bag and a plan to leave if required.
Residents should be aware this is an evacuation warning *not* an order to evacuate: an evacuation warning means there is a potential threat to life/property. Any individuals who need extra time to evacuate, or anyone with large animals, should pack-up and calmly leave now.
We ask that residents stay calm, keep their government alerts turned on, and heed all evacuation warnings.
Our office will continue to keep you up to date on further developments as information becomes available.
