It’s tax season and Council District 4 is here to help!

Dear Friends,

Across Los Angeles, families are grappling with economic uncertainty, from impacts from the fires and beyond. That’s why we have partnered with the Community Investment for Families Department to bring you Community Grows: A Tax Prep and Sustainability Resource Fair!

This *FREE* event will provide community members with a one-stop-shop for all things financial sustainability— including free support preparing your taxes, applying for CalFresh, navigating EBT benefits, and more! To schedule your free appointment with tax experts visit: bit.ly/cd4grows

We’ll also be giving away free air purifiers while supplies last, to ensure your homes have clean, breathable air. Local sustainability advocates will also be on hand, providing free seeded plants, and sharing gardening tips and tricks to help you keep a green thumb year-round.
